For centuries, cannabis has been used to treat pain. More recently, it was found that CBD also known as cannabidiol – one of the 120+ chemical components of cannabis gives it its pain-relieving properties. CBD can be produced in a range of forms, most commonly as an oil. CBD oil is made through extracting the CBD from the cannabis plant then adding a carrier oil like hemp seed oil or coconut oil.
It is also essential to note that the strength of CBD varies for different kinds of CBD oil depending on the other active ingredients blended with it and the brand.
